"Pleasant words are sweet to the soul and healthy for the bones." (Proverbs 16:24)
It is a well-known truth that people would rather hear something good and positive than bad and negative. But why does it seem the exact opposite in today's society? We seem to thrive off of bad news and the media makes sure that we don't go lacking. Are we so 'off the beaten path' that we have changed our very nature? Maybe that's why 21 million Americans are diagnosed with depression every year. |

Principle #1: Don’t waste time pretending something is when it really isn’t. Dream, but
be realistic. Be knowledgeable. Give foundation to your dream.

No one can overcome any obstacle without being resilient. Resilience is your ability to bounce back from any and everything. It is your ability to get back up on the stage of life after you have been booed off. It is your ability to get back to your place of strength quickly. It is your ability to get back in your flow with little down time. The key to resilience is knowing what does it for you - what takes you there - what gets you up - what brings you out. For me it is writing. Whether it is a song, poem, or just something inspirational, writing puts me back in my place of strength. |

An excerpt from "A Dreamer's Diary" “When you were born the plan was not that you should fail, but that you would succeed. It was not that your life should be worthless, but that it would be worthwhile. It was not intended for you to have a negative impact on the world, but a positive one. It was not meant for you to have less than the best, but the very best life has to offer. You were predestined in love to succeed before the world began. That means that the destiny for your life was determined before you were born and the decision as to where you should end up and what you would become was not a toss in a hat, but a well thought-out plan to bring you to the full manifestation of expressed love through the maximized potential of your predetermined purpose.”

Dreams don't just go away, you know! They stay in your womb like an unborn babe. If you feed them and continue to feed them, they will grow and eventually come into existence. If you don't feed them, they remain in your subconscious womb as an undeveloped part of who you are. Dreams are designed to add to your life.....to the world. But they can't feed you if you don't feed them. If you are going to be everything you were designed to be, you must deliver the unborn dreams from your subconscious womb and allow the real you to be revealed to yourself first and then to the world. |

Hello and welcome to "Tongue of the Learned" blog. I started this blog because I have seen the power and affects of the spoken word. I have seen individuals devastated by things said to them and about them, things that plagued them their entire lives. I have also seen people empowered and changed forever by the realization that they could affect their outcomes in life with a different way of thinking and speaking. It is a simple concept but a powerful medium often misunderstood. God has chosen to share His creative power with us by giving us the ability to speak things into existence and call things that are not as though they are. Several years ago I discovered the true nature and power of the written and spoken word. I found I was able to tap a source of strength deep within me that carried me through a rough period in my life. I learned that I had the ability to frame my future and shape my destiny with the words I said about myself. I discovered the power to remake my life through positive confessions and projections of my past, present, and future. Consequently, I am now living in the future that I framed several years ago with words that I said about myself. Don't get me wrong, I'm not just talking about positive confessions. I'm talking about aligning your belief about yourself with the truth about who you really are, why you're really here, and the power you really have. I want to invite you to join me on this journey of discovery. Maybe you have already realized your true power and are walking in it right now. If that's the case I want to invite you to help me encourage others. Perhaps you have not discovered your true power and are at a place in your life where you can use some revelation, wisdom, and truth. If that's the case, then I want to invite you to frequent this site, participate in our discussions, share your experience, and open your mind to the truth of the greatness that lies withing you.
